First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Kibo Software.
Software Engineer
After I applied, they sent me an aptitude test and a personality test, both of which I passed. About 1-2 weeks later, they scheduled another aptitude test, but this time with HR observing. Another 1-2 weeks after that, I had a technical interview via video call with one of the Software Managers and Senior developers. It felt pretty disorganized, like they were making it up as they went along and asking each other what to ask me. After some random Java questions, we did a couple of coding challenges on a whiteboard. This part felt like it was designed to make you fail because you're coding, explaining your thought process, and trying to work with them on a solution, but they don't say much and just stare while you code. Overall, I didn't get a good vibe from the interviewers. A few weeks later, I got an offer from a much better company with a smoother interview process.

Software Developer
Started with a recruiter chat about my interests, resume, the company, and my salary expectations. Then there was a cognitive test with math, word, and pattern recognition parts. I had to take it twice, once by myself and once with the camera on. After that, I talked to the hiring manager who asked me some trivia about .NET and other programming stuff, plus questions about my resume and past work. The last part was with two team members where we discussed more trivia and my experience, and then I did some coding questions. I suggest practicing with Hackerrank's free kit.

Software Engineer
So first, I had to do these two online tests, one was like a personality thing and the other was an IQ test. After I finished those, they emailed me to set up a first phone call. The person I talked to was nice and all, no issues there. But, like, they told me that the job, even though it's called 'Software Engineer-Entry Level,' doesn't actually involve any coding. It's more of a 'customer-facing,' 'technical advisor' type of job. Just a heads up, the title might be a bit confusing because you'd think a software engineer role would be about building software.
