Inside Sales
The first round was a 30 min meeting with the hiring manager at a local coffee shop, but it went for an hour. It was casual and the hiring manager wasn't focused on my resume but on evaluating me personally. They wanted to know if I was passionate about the industry and the company's direction. They asked why I wanted the role, the company, and the industry, as well as my career goals and expectations. The second round was also at a coffee shop with the hiring manager's colleague for about 45 minutes, intended to confirm the hiring manager's thoughts. The third round was a 3-hour on-site with Directors and VPs, and someone on the team. One interviewer, who built the inside sales team, was very process-driven and explained their success factors. Her toughest question was about a time I failed, what I learned, and how I improved. Another interviewer asked about my successes in my current role. The interview with a potential teammate focused on cultural fit. This round also allowed for questions about the role, company, manager, and daily interactions. The fourth round was at HQ to meet with the CSO, a final thumbs up or down since only 3 candidates were left for 1 spot. The CSO was open about the organization but didn't go into deep details about the Inside Sales role.
- Tell me about a time you failed, what lessons you took away, and how you made adjustments for the next time.

Inside Sales Representative
Got referred by a friend who used to work here. Recruiter contacted me right away, but it was a really basic phone call with not much useful feedback, just a lot of positive affirmations. Then I met the hiring manager at a coffee shop, but he had to leave early for another meeting. This felt unfair and I regretted not discussing important things like salary or next steps. I didn't hear back for over a week until I followed up. The recruiter then told me I wouldn't be moving on to another in-person interview. I asked for feedback, which I feel is pretty standard now, but got none. Overall, a negative and unprofessional experience with poor communication.
- What is your motivation for wanting to work at Spredfast?
Sales
I was first reached out to by an HR recruiter. We kicked things off with a phone call or two to chat about the role, what they expect, and the pay. After that, I had a couple of informal coffee chats. Then came the on-site interviews where I met some of the team and the people in charge. Finally, I had to give a presentation to the whole team. Honestly, the whole thing was pretty simple, and HR was super quick to respond. They gave me the offer I was looking for, so I accepted!
- Can you discuss your experience and insights on fulfilling the responsibilities of this position?
