First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Kforce.
Sales Account Manager
A recruiter reached out to me on LinkedIn and we had a phone call. After that, I went in for an interview that lasted 2.5 hours. I spoke with 4 different managers during that time. The interview went extremely well, and we even started discussing what it would take for me to accept a position with Kforce. It concluded with one of the managers asking me to contact her the next day with my thoughts on moving forward. I did contact her, but she was busy and said she would call me the following day. It's been almost 3 weeks, and I never heard back from anyone. I decided it wasn't quite what I was looking for, but it's unprofessional to have never been followed up with, especially after I took half a workday to interview at Kforce.
- Can you describe your experience and your current role?
Account Manager
A KForce recruiter contacted me and we had a brief call to discuss the role and company. After that, I went to their office for an in-person meeting with the talent manager and two other account executives. The recruiter, Lindsay, was really great and helpful, which I appreciated. They decided not to proceed with my application, and Lindsay personally called to explain the reason, which is unusual compared to companies that just send an email or ghost you. The job seemed interesting, and they were quick to schedule the interview, unlike some companies that drag out the process.
- Could you describe your professional background?
- What motivates your interest in a sales career?
Account Manager
I got a call from a recruiter, and we had a long chat that ended with setting up a meeting at the local office. I met with three people there. The interview wasn't too tough, and the questions were pretty laid-back. They didn't offer me the job, and the feedback was that I talked too much and led the meeting too much. They said a good salesperson should listen more than they talk and not run the meeting. This was odd since I was asking a lot of questions in all three meetings and responding with questions too. I'm not really sure what they were looking for because that feedback felt really generic and unhelpful. Oh well, good luck to them.
- Could you tell us a bit about yourself?
- What makes you want to work for a staffing agency?
- What are your main motivators?
