Chef
They asked me some basic questions, and I found it a bit challenging to answer them. The interview process involved a phone call, followed by an in-person meeting, and then a practical cooking assessment. Overall, it was an okay experience, but my main advice is to be well-prepared.
- Can you explain how you would prepare an egg?
Cashier
The hiring process is designed to see how good your customer service is, if you've worked in fast food before, and how you handle stress. It usually goes like this: You'll have a one-on-one chat where we'll dig into your fast-food background and ask for stories about times you were great with customers. Then, we might throw some scenarios at you to see how you'd deal with angry customers, super busy times, or when machines break. We might also test your skills with some timed tasks, like taking orders, juggling a few things at once, or doing up the cash. Lastly, we'll check your background to make sure everything checks out with your work history and references.
- Can you tell me about your past employment and relevant experience?
- What kind of experience do you have?
Cook
after entering the offices, you fill out a form, hand in your documents, and then they send you with an HSBC bank worker to get your card where you'll be paid. Then there's a brief training - an explanation of what the company is, this process lasts 2 hours. There's a break where they give you a meal, and at the end, they guide you to sign the contract. I asked for a copy for myself but they refused.
- Do you see yourself working in this area?
