I applied for a full-time job on their application site, which had very few fields. I'm not sure if the system was bad and dropped all my attachments and comments, or if HR just didn't look. It was clear they don't care or even know what applicants applied for. Different people kept asking me the same background questions, and eventually, I had to fill out a bunch of Excel forms meant for freelancers. It felt more like a translation factory than a company. They really need to improve their interview process and application site so it's not a hassle for their HR and applicants. If they don't care, why should you?

I applied for the Polish Freelance Translator position in March 2023. After submitting my CV, the hiring manager sent me an email detailing the job description and their offered fees. They also requested that I complete a questionnaire, which I did. The next day, I was informed that my application would not be moving forward. This was quite unexpected, as the questionnaire was based on my CV, which they had seemingly accepted. I asked for the reason behind their decision but have not received a response. I found this whole experience to be unprofessional and cannot recommend this employer.

They sent me a translation test with strings related to their business. Honestly, the test felt way too hard and took a lot longer than I expected, like over 15 hours, especially for a freelance gig. The recruiter was really nice and polite though.
