It was an internal hire. Just one interview, no extra tasks or anything. They asked really basic stuff. Questions were about my experience in KPIs, leading the team, troubleshooting, and so on. It was nice and not really stressful. If you're going for a lead role and have some clue about it, you'll probably be fine.

The interview process was pretty standard, with typical questions. I felt a bit rushed by the interviewer and didn't get to elaborate much. He mentioned the company's limited resources and that the PM role would involve carrying a lot of things forward, which, while expected for a PM, felt a bit unusual to be explicitly stated. After the interview, I saw some concerning Glassdoor reviews from 2018 onwards. I brought this up with the recruiter, who said she'd check. The next day, she replied that it's a big company with reviews globally, but the London office is different. A day later, I was told I didn't get the job. When I asked for feedback, the recruiter said the interviewer was too busy to respond. I never got any feedback despite spending about a day preparing for the interview, which I had two days' notice for. It felt disrespectful and unhelpful not to get even brief notes.

So it was a while ago, back in the COVID era, but as I recall, first the HR manager gave me a call to discuss my background and what motivated me. They also told me about the next steps which involved a studio visit and a localization test. Due to the lockdown then, the studio visit wasn't possible, so the next stage was the localization test that I had to do from home within a time limit.
