It was pretty simple, we did online group introductions and then waited for our turn. Two people interviewed me and asked general stuff like why I wanted to be in sales and my motivations. Then we did a roleplay where I had to sell a car to one of them.

It was the first stage of the interview where I had to give a video interview explaining why I am a good fit for the job, The HireVue process went well. A brief about the company at the start showed operational values and culture, which was very motivational. Still waiting on a reply. the suggestion is to just know well about the company as the role is of sales and you need to pitch the products

I interviewed for Keyence's Sales Graduate Role. The interview process had 4 stages. First, a HireVue interview where I had to record myself answering "How would you be a good fit for this role?". I had prep time for this. Then there was a Mechanical Aptitude Test, a simple common-sense physics quiz, basically to show I'm not stupid. You can google answers if needed. The next stage was a Virtual Assessment Centre, which was a group assessment and a first individual interview. We had an online group meeting on Zoom with other candidates and a recruitment manager. We were given company basics and had to introduce ourselves and state our greatest achievement. After that, I had a 15-minute individual assessment with the recruitment manager. This involved standard interview questions like "Tell me a time when you faced backlash for a new idea" or "why sales". Then came a 15-minute roleplay where I had to sell conference room space to Keyence. This assessed my sales ability and passion. They were stubborn and expected me to know everything about hotel conference rooms, and the key was to close the deal. Apparently, just offering to send a brochure was a failure. The final stage was a standard in-person interview with a hiring manager, likely a formality. I was told I'd hear back in a week, but after two weeks of chasing, I found out I didn't get further. I had a good overall experience, but they aren't great at contacting unsuccessful candidates.

  • As a hotel agent, sell me (Keyence) conference room space.
