Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at KeyBank.
Business Analyst
There were four interviews in total. Three were case interviews, and one was a behavioral interview. The case interviews were not too difficult if you're good at problem-solving. The behavioral interview was pretty standard. My biggest issue with KeyBank was their lack of communication after rejection. My friend and I went through multiple rounds for the same program and heard nothing. We only found out we weren't selected by checking our career portals, not through any email or call. After spending a lot of time on applications during a busy recruiting season, we were ghosted. We didn't get any response to our emails either. Given how we were treated, I regret spending my time on this application, time that could have gone to companies that at least communicate with applicants.

Business Analyst
I applied online and a HR reached out about 2 weeks after. Then I had a phone interview with her. She began by explaining the interview structure, then asked me why I was interested in KeyBank and this role, and to discuss a project I worked on. I finished by asking about the hiring process and the job's location. The call was about 20 minutes.

The interview process felt a little lengthy. You'll have about three or four interviews over the span of a month. You'll meet with people at different levels who you might work with.
