It was a pretty straightforward interview process overall. First, I had a quick chat with the Talent Acquisition Partner about the role. Then, I went through a technical interview that involved reviewing code and doing some live coding to improve it. After that, I spoke with the Engineering Team Lead, which was more of a cultural fit conversation, discussing my background and work scenarios. All these calls were positive. The company then decided I might be a better fit for a different team based on my background, so I had one final call with the Engineering team lead for that specific team, and then I received the offer.

Technical Coding

We had an intro lifestyle interview where we talked about work processes like code review and I described my experience. Then there was a task where I had to fix some issues in an existing project and comment on it, which was part of the tech interview. The technical interview covered DDD, testing, event-based architecture, how to deal with issues when submitting jobs to the queue, and DB security.
