Recruiter call

The recruiters at this company are not good. I've applied for a few positions and was contacted often by recruiters, but then they ghosted me with no response. One recruiter passed me along to the hiring manager and was going to get back to me to schedule the interview; never heard back even after follow-ups from me. Another recruiter was supposed to call me at an agreed-upon day/time (didn't send an invite though); she/he called me at the wrong time, and I didn't answer because I was on another call. When I nicely pointed out that our emails said a different time and asked if they could call me then, they never responded, even after a couple follow-ups from me. A third recruiter reached out to me for a job and then asked for my availability to meet with the hiring manager, which I provided, but never heard back from them. It's clearly a trend of poor habits and culture; it felt like waste of time applying to jobs here.

Behavioral Technical Other

The company made the interview process super smooth and were really open about everything. HR and the team were always available to answer questions, and they responded quickly and honestly. Because of COVID, the whole thing was done virtually. It followed the typical steps: first, HR called to chat about the job details and what I was looking for salary-wise. Then, I interviewed with the Hiring Manager. Finally, I got to connect with leaders from different departments to get a feel for who I'd be collaborating with.

Behavioral Case Presentation

It started with an HR screen, then a 30-minute interview with the hiring manager. After that, there were four 45-minute interviews with people from different teams and a senior leader. They mostly asked standard behavioral questions, but threw in some consulting-style questions too. They really wanted someone with a lot of CPG experience, not just general insights experience.
