The interview process felt unorganized and unaligned. The first interview was virtual with the hiring manager and two others, and it felt like a game show with lots of 'good answer' comments. They agreed on a salary in this first interview. The second interview was with a panel and involved a case study presentation, but they only gave us an hour, and then when we met virtually, the time was reduced to 20 minutes, with the hiring manager deciding the whole interview would be 20 minutes, and my case study only got 5 minutes. In interview #4, when they made the offer, it was $70K less than the range posted in the listing and $20K less than what we discussed in interview #1.

Behavioral Technical

The interview process was not standard. It started with a random, unscheduled phone call, and then two meetings were scheduled at different times but then cancelled and rescheduled. I was told I needed more experience, which felt fabricated since I was invited to the final in-person round. I was also told I didn't ask questions about the business, which is also not true. After all rounds, I was told the team and HR contact thought I was a better fit for an analyst role, a more junior position. It seems this company has racial bias within its HR department and beyond, which was very clear. It's good to know this beforehand though. I will not support any of their brands in the future.

Behavioral Presentation

The interview process was great. It was thorough but not overwhelming, and they were happy to answer any questions I had about the role or company. I spoke with a good mix of people to get different perspectives on the team.
