Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Kettering Health.
Registered Nurse
The interview process was straightforward and efficient. I only had one interview with the Nursing Supervisor and Nurse Educator for the unit I was interested in. They were both very friendly and helped create a relaxed and positive environment. I was extended an offer at the end of the interview, which lasted approximately 20 to 30 minutes.
- Could you start by telling me about yourself?
- Can you share an instance where you exceeded expectations?
- What was your most challenging shift, and can you describe it?
Registered Nurse
The interview was pretty relaxed and comfortable. They talked about the unit and how it works. I was told that we don't take isolation patients and I wouldn't have any COVID positive patients, but it turns out that's not true. This unit was misrepresented to me.
- Tell me about your previous employment and what you liked and disliked about those positions.
Registered Nurse
It was a pretty long interview process. I was interviewed by several people over multiple rounds. There was an all-day orientation, which included food. The questions asked were pretty standard. It seems like an okay company to work for.
- Can you recall a situation where you had to...?
- Tell me about a time you had to...?
