First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Kerr, Robichaux & Carroll.
Legal Assistant
They responded fast and were really chill about scheduling a zoom call. I wasn't sure if it was a real interview or just a quick chat, but I'm waiting to hear back from them.
- Why are you interested in this job?
Associate Attorney
The interview was over zoom. They sent the invite, but misspelled my name. When asking me questions, it was obvious they hadn't reviewed my resume. There were at least some people on their end, but I'm not sure because they didn't introduce themselves.
- Can you explain what it means to be a Fellow?
Legal Assistant
It was a really strange interview process. I responded to an ad on Craigslist by dropping off my resume. Then, I was told that the partners would be available to interview me right then and there. Two of the partners interviewed me, and I got a negative impression from both. I got a job offer later that same day. I almost didn't accept it because the interview creeped me out so much, but when you're dealing with student loans, you can't be too picky.
- Can you describe your previous experience?
- What are your expectations regarding workplace sacrifice?
Legal Assistant
The firm's partners will conduct a formal interview. Dress appropriately for the occasion. They hire people with little experience, so this could be a good chance. The questions are pretty straightforward but can feel a bit daunting. However, they are friendly.
- What do you seek in a job?
