Group Presentation

So I interviewed for grad school back in 2023. It was a pretty quick interview, actually. It involved a group of professors and some other students who were also interviewing. I thought it was cool how they had different types of questions and activities to really get a sense of everyone who was there.

The interview process went pretty easily, and the people in charge were super nice! The process was super long, which was frustrating. The on-campus interview was great they treated me so well in the Career Exploration office and made me feel like they genuinely wanted me to be there.

When using Flask with Jinja2 templates, if they aren't showing up right, you should check for spelling mistakes, missing pieces, or wrong code in your templates. You can also turn on template debugging by setting app.jinja_env.undefined = DebugUndefined. This will throw an error if you try to use variables that aren't defined in your templates. Debugging Flask stuff means looking closely at your code, understanding what the errors are saying, and using the tools you have. Just remember to lock down your app before you launch it by turning off debugging and doing things the secure way.

I applied for several positions at the new office and was contacted about the entry-level role. Even though I had more experience than they were asking for, I saw it as a way to get my foot in the door and potentially move up. The interview itself was professional and the work seemed manageable based on the description. I got a tour of the workspace. Some questions were asked. While there was no presentation for this role, I know that positions above this level required one, as I interviewed for one later. The process was fast because they were trying to staff the new office quickly to meet deadlines.

  • Can you describe a time you had a conflict with a coworker and how you handled it?
