First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Kendra Scott.
Assistant Manager
I emailed back and forth with the store manager multiple times. She kept saying she would give me an update later and later, and eventually I just got ignored. It was pretty upsetting and discouraging. She could have just told me I wasn't picked instead of never responding.
- What makes you want to join Kendra Scott?
Assistant Manager
I applied online and was invited to an interview. All communication was via email. I was told I'd hear back in 2 days, but when I didn't, I emailed for an update on my interview status. About a week and a half after my follow-up email, I received an email from the District Manager asking if I had time that week to discuss my interview. I replied with my availability, but I haven't heard back since.
- Can you introduce yourself?
- In what ways have you demonstrated entrepreneurial skills in your past roles?
- Do you volunteer or contribute to any charities?
Assistant Manager
I sent in my application online and they got back to me really fast, like within an hour, saying they wanted to interview me. The interview itself was about a week after that, and then I got the offer two days later. It was a chill interview, the store manager was super nice and easy to chat with. They made sure I didn't feel nervous or anything.
- What would be your approach if you had two employees who weren't getting along and were experiencing problems?
- What would you do in a situation where you and the other assistant manager didn't see eye to eye?
