Coordinator
I put in my application and after a few days, I got an email to set up an interview time. There were three rounds in total, and all of them were on Zoom. Everyone I talked to was really nice.
- Can you introduce yourself?
- What is your interest in Kendo?
- Could you provide an overview of your resume?
Coordinator
I had five separate 30-minute interviews. The questions were pretty simple and relaxed. A few of the interviewers didn't seem very connected to the job and weren't sure what to ask, so I felt like I had to drive the conversation. Everyone asked about how I handle stress and dealing with 'personalities' from upper management. I was told to wait by the phone for updates, and then a manager asked me to reach out about an extra question. I emailed her multiple times without a reply. A week later, I got an automated rejection email with no reason why they didn't finish the process. It's frustrating when people are too 'busy' to even email a candidate back, but I got the impression everyone there is so stressed they can't be bothered to be polite.
- Can you tell me about yourself and your career history?
Coordinator
This was one of the worst interview processes I have ever been through. Everyone I met with seemed very disorganized and unprepared, as if they didn't expect me. They also didn't seem to enjoy their jobs, which gave me a bad feeling from the start. I never even spoke to a recruiter, so I had no idea about the overall timeline. Even after waiting 2-3 weeks, I wasn't told about the next steps. When I followed up, I still got no response. Throughout the whole thing, I felt completely in the dark about what to expect. Honestly, even if they offered me the job now, I wouldn't take it because the company lacks organization. I don't mind not getting an offer, but it would have been polite to at least inform me that I didn't get the job, especially after I followed up. All the reviews on Glassdoor about this company were spot on.
- What is your motivation for wanting to be employed at this company?
