It was a pretty standard interview process, not particularly good or bad, though I wish they had been more upfront about the salary. It gave me a chance to talk about what I can do and find out more about the company, but the interviewers didn't seem super engaged or enthusiastic, which was a bit of a letdown.

Applied late Jan 2008. Had a phone screen with HR Hiring Manager end of Feb. The next week was the first interview with the Customer Service Manager, which was a really relaxed behavioral type interview. The week after that was the second interview with a supervisor and a skills test. It felt like the supervisor interview was more of a formality since they probably already decided to hire me if my background check cleared and I passed the skills test. The skills test itself was pretty basic, like if you can't pass it, you can't do the job, so don't stress. The main hurdle is passing a state Property and Casualty Licensing exam. They put you through a week of intense training just to get you ready for it. You get a second chance if you fail the first time, but if you fail the second time, you're out. They really try to help you pass the state exam, but some people still don't make it. I got the offer the week after the second interview and skills test. They gave me the background check paperwork then, which is thorough and needs 10 years of employment and address history.

The interview process took about 3 weeks and then I was hired. If you have prior experience, the interview will be really easy. They do ask about your ability to multitask and your overall proficiency. It was about 4 interviews in total.
