First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at KellyOCG.
Talent Supply Chain Consultant
It was a 3 round virtual interview process. The first round was a screening, the second was a manager round which was the main one, and the third was an HR round. The reporting head primarily asked questions and evaluated based on your process knowledge and tested your skillset for the role's needs.
- Could you discuss your process knowledge and skills?
- How are your communication abilities?
Recruiter Coordinator
I had a first video call with the recruiter. Then there were 2 more interview rounds, one with a team member and the final one with the manager. Everything was virtual. The manager seemed unfriendly and unimpressed with my answers. The interview process started in November, and I'm still waiting for feedback. I've emailed both the recruiter and the proxy, but haven't heard back.
- Could you tell me about your background?
- What are your professional targets?
- How do you approach prioritizing your work?
Talent Sourcing Recruiter
I went through 3 interview rounds with Kelly. I was upfront about needing WFH for the first 3 months, and they agreed and showed me the salary breakdown. They convinced me to turn down another offer with a better package and WFH, but after I declined, they revealed the position was actually WFO or Hybrid, which wasn't mentioned before. The Recruiter, Account Manager, Director, and HR kept passing the blame regarding my request. What they promised in the interview and what's in the documents are totally different. They said I'd get a 15% fixed quarterly bonus on top of CTC, but the paperwork says 15% variable. Don't just trust the company name; they can mess with your career.
- Can you describe your past experiences?
- What technical knowledge do you have relevant to this role?
Solutions Architect
The recruiter reached out to me. Then I met with my potential manager. After that, I interviewed with the VP and Head of Sales. The job was for a Solutions Architect working with new and existing business lines. The recruiter found me because I have MSP and global experience, which they really wanted. I made it to the final round, but because my background isn't sales-focused, they said that's why I didn't get the job. It felt dishonest because it's not a sales role, they have a whole sales team for that. If it was a sales architect role, they should have called it that. Left a bad impression and felt like a waste of time.
- They asked me questions to see if I was qualified for the job.
- The VP of Sales asked me sales-related questions even though it wasn't a sales-focused role.
