The hiring process is pretty easy. Once you decide you want to work for them you schedule a time to come in for a group interview/training session. During my group interview each applicant was asked only one question. It didn't seem to me that they would actually turn anyone away. I went to school for education and have a teaching license but my interviewer wouldn't have known that from the "interview."

After submitting my application and completing the required paperwork and health checks, I had an in-person interview at their Long Beach office. The hiring manager and her assistant provided clear instructions and necessary documents. The interviewer was friendly and focused on understanding my prior experience with education or children, my aspirations, and how I'd manage challenging student behaviors or scenarios. I had the opportunity to ask my own questions, and the interviewer also shared helpful tips on ensuring student and personal safety in various circumstances.

First I did a 2-hour online training that was pretty much the interview. Then I had a short interview with questions mostly about classroom management and professionalism that were covered in the online training. After that, I scheduled an orientation. I had to get fingerprinted at a school (paid $50) and bring the receipt to the orientation. The orientation lasted 2-3 hours and at the end I got my badge and login for the scheduling system.
