Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Kelly.
Administrative
I signed up online and a recruiter called me to schedule some tests. The recruiter took at least 2 days to call or email back about my application status. I was never told to call in or how to stay on a call list. I got one call from another recruiter about some temp jobs, but I could only pick one (I should have known it was fake). I never got any more calls after that. It was really unprofessional and a letdown.
- The questions were quite simple.
Executive Assistant
The recruiter at kelly was great and really matched my experience to the job. She gave me a good heads-up about the interview process at the company and explained everything to me. It was a really professional process overall.
- How many years of experience do you have?
Staff Assistant
I had two interviews, one with Kelly and another with Toyota. Everyone I met at Toyota was great and really helpful throughout the process.
- I struggled with using Excel according to 'The Toyota Way'. I was trained in Excel and asked about getting trained in 'The Toyota Way', but it never happened.
