I applied for a Marketing Analytics Manager role at Kellogg's in Chicago and first got an automated email for an initial phone-screen. I scheduled it, but the recruiter never showed up. I reached out on LinkedIn and eventually rescheduled. After the HR phone-screen, I had a call with the hiring manager who mentioned travel to Battle Creek, MI would be required. I agreed, but then HR said relocation to Battle Creek was needed, not travel allowance. I agreed to relocate. A recruiter then called me during another interview to schedule the in-person interview, but they scheduled it for a day I was already busy and couldn't make the 3-hour drive. They said the team was going on holiday, so we'd push it to the next week. Then, I got an email saying they wouldn't schedule the interview because they'd already made an offer to someone else who accepted. It felt unprofessional.

I had a phone interview with the district Hiring Manager. It was a mix of basic behavioral questions and questions about my past work experience. It was very straight forward and lasted 20-30 minutes. Most of the time was spent learning more about the company instead of me answering questions.

The interview was okay, but the interviewer wasn't truthful about all the working conditions. I was only given two days' notice about when to start working, and on the first day of work/training, I was told by the trainer other information concerning off days which the interviewer did not tell me truthfully after I had asked him during our phone interview. I never had a one-on-one interview.
