Intern
The interview went smoothly. I got a call from the hiring manager asking if I wanted to do a 6-month internship, which I happily accepted. However, afterwards, the hiring manager became unresponsive to my calls and emails. I waited for about two weeks and then received an official email stating they had found other candidates and encouraged me to apply next year. I didn't even get to talk to the hiring manager again, and I was rejected! I'm not sure if others have had a similar experience, but it really sucks. From this, I'd advise that if you agree to any appointment over the phone, ask for an offer, either electronic or paper, as soon as possible. Don't get too excited if you don't have the offer yet, as it's too soon.

- Which Kellogg products do you know?
- What led you to choose your major?
Intern
The interview process started with an initial application task, then a phone interview, and finally an afternoon of tasks and in-person interviews. I felt like I got a really good understanding of the company and that they genuinely considered me. After that, things went downhill. I had to follow up more than once about my application status. Then I got an automated rejection email with no contact info. It would have been more considerate to give feedback from a real person, especially for an intern role that required so much time and effort. Since there were only a few applicants left by the final stage, there's no excuse. It really soured what had initially been an impressive interview process.

IT Intern
I got the job posting from an online job board and was contacted by a recruiting manager. After a brief 5-minute call to set up a time for a phone interview, I had a phone interview where we discussed my resume and some general behavioral questions. A week later, I was invited for an in-person interview at the headquarters in Battle Creek. This interview focused on my project experience and questions about teamwork and leadership. The interviewer was very welcoming and made me feel at ease. I believe my quick answers and eagerness to learn and contribute were key factors.
