Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Kellanova.
Financial Analyst
I applied, and a few days later had a phone screen. Since I was moving laterally from another big manufacturer around here, they talked about offering significantly less pay for the same role than what I was currently making.
- Can you share an instance where your communication skills helped you resolve a workplace challenge?
Senior Financial Analyst
The interview process included an initial HR phone screen, followed by a direct report phone screen. Then, there was a team meet with a four-person panel. An offer was extended via phone call shortly after the panel, and I started two weeks later. The whole thing took about two months. The company communicated well and responded promptly, so I never had to chase anyone or follow up.
- Can you tell me about a time when you faced a specific situation?
- Could you provide an example of your experience in a particular area?
- Can you describe your detailed knowledge of financial analysis as it pertains to this specific role?
Financial Analyst
I got a call from Kellogg's corporate offices to set up a phone interview. It was behavioral and went for about 45 minutes. Then, I got another call to set up an on-site interview. At the on-site, the panel went over the job responsibilities more thoroughly and shared some insights on office dynamics. After that, there were more behavioral questions.
- Can you share an instance where circumstances changed dramatically? Describe what occurred, your response, and the outcome.
