Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Kellanova.
Business Analyst
First, you'll have an HR interview to get acquainted. Then, a competency-based interview using the STAR method with the hiring manager and another person relevant to the role. Depending on the level, you might have a follow-up interview with a director, or you could receive an offer or feedback.
- Describe a time you demonstrated courage.
IT Analyst
It was a standard process. First, an HR phone screen, then a call with the hiring manager, and finally an onsite panel interview. The only negative thing was that follow ups were consistently late, at least by a week. After nearly 5 hours of interviews, a simple call or email either way would have been common courtesy. It didn't give a good impression of Kellogg's professionalism or how they treat employees. I won't be applying for other roles there.
- Tell me about a time you faced a specific situation and how you responded.
Business Analyst
It was a rigorous process with a number of rounds, specific to the skills needed. I had to prepare well. They asked thoughtful questions and were able to filter candidates well. Hope it goes well. It was a pleasure getting to know the company.
- Can you tell me about your current job scope and what your aspirations are?
