Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at KEC International Ltd..
Graduate Engineer Trainee
It was a good experience, but I feel like the feedback was given too casually. Just so you know, they don't give out offers easily.
- They inquired about my college, focusing on its operational structure and systems, and also asked about electrical concepts.
Graduate Engineer Trainee
The interview process was straightforward and easy. It primarily focused on power systems. Basic questions were asked, along with some questions regarding cable materials. The interviewer was very friendly and did not create any pressure, instead offering encouragement. If you didn't know an answer, it was fine to say so positively.
- Can you explain how a tubelight functions?
- Could you describe the difference between a capacitor and an inductor?
Graduate Engineer Trainee
So first they give a presentation about the company and the job, then the actual process begins. It's a 3-step process. First, a written exam with aptitude questions and questions from your core engineering subjects. Since I'm an Electronics Engineer, I got questions from Basic Electronics. Second, there was supposed to be a Group Discussion, but since very few people qualified in the written exam, the GD was canceled at our college. Third, a Personal Interview where they ask general HR questions and questions about your training experiences.
- In the HR interview, I was asked about my various habits.
