Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Kearney.
Analyst
So the process was pretty straightforward. I had one behavioral interview and one case interview, which was a bit more challenging than usual. They followed up a few days later with feedback on why I didn't get the offer. It was a really smooth experience, and they were actually the only company that took the time to explain their decision, which was helpful for my own development.

Super quick hiring process, took me 20 days from the first HR chat to getting the offer. The steps were: a 15-minute HR call, then one case study with an associate partner, and finally three more case studies with different partners. The partners were really nice and supportive. It was tough to turn down another offer because the company culture seemed really great.
- Can you solve utility case studies?
Solutions Analyst
It was about half behavioral and half case study, and honestly not that challenging. The person interviewing me was super chill the whole time, so I had no clue if I was doing okay. It felt like it went alright though, and this was one of the first times I'd interviewed for anything.
- Can you share an instance where you took initiative?
- Describe a recent presentation you delivered.
