I recently interviewed with Kearney, and it was a great experience. The whole process was well-organized, clear, and respectful of my time. It really showed me they care about their people and the candidates they bring on.

Behavioral Presentation

I was a college hire so they interviewed me on my campus. I was invited for a college open house which is a two day all expenses paid interview experience for a thursday to friday in October. Dinner the night you arrive with all others invited plus 8-10 current Kearney employees. Then you have presentations, meet one person from senior management (CEO, CFO, Executive Vice Presidents) and have lunch. Then you have three separate 30 min interviews with a partner, a principal, and a senior manager. You go home and wait for a call after. I received one the following Monday and accepted officially about a month later.

Confirmed questions3 questions
  • They asked about me as a person, like my hobbies, my favorite music, how I spend my free time, what matters most to me, and how I got where I was at that point.
  • Since they have your resume, they can see all the professional stuff, so they really drill you on who you are as a person.
  • They say you'd rather hire someone with less experience who you want to work with than someone you can't stand who is an expert.
