Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Keane.
Software Engineer
The interview process was pretty straightforward, with a total of 5 rounds. It began with a written test covering aptitude and general English. After that, there was a group discussion (GD) where we debated the topic of nuclear energy. Next, a technical round focused on Java, C, and academic subjects. The managerial round involved an IQ test, and finally, there was an HR interview.
- What are your thoughts on Java?
Software Engineer
I had to travel a long distance because a telephonic interview wasn't an option. Once I got to the interview location, the interviewer conducted a telephonic interview, which felt pointless. The requirements weren't clear and the questions weren't really to the point. The interviewer seemed restless and didn't give me enough time for a proper discussion.
- Could you explain why SAP scripts are client dependent while Smartforms are not?
Senior Software Engineer
There were four rounds in total for the interview, and I'd say the difficulty was easy to moderate. It started with a phone screening, and then I was invited for an onsite interview. Overall, it was a good experience.
- Questions about SQL queries and COBOL programming.
- A technical problem the team was dealing with at that time.
