First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at KBC.

First, I had to fill out an online questionnaire. Then, I was invited in person. The process was a half-day with various tests. There was a logic test, and a difficult inbox exercise with an oral defense. After that, there was a discussion about the info on my CV with detailed questions, and finally, a role-playing exercise where I had to schedule TV programs. I got feedback about a week later.

- Describe a past mistake you made at work and what you did to rectify it.

The interview process started with a phone interview, followed by a written exam. Then there was a presentation, a human resources interview, and finally an interview with the department head and colleagues. Overall it was quite professional, covering both soft and hard skills. A case study was involved, after which a presentation was required to demonstrate strategies for solving problems or improving current situations.
- Given a scenario, how would you approach it with a case study?
Analyst
The interview process involved an aptitude test followed by competency questions, comprising two stages. It felt like a very standard process and can be prepared for in a normal manner. If you get an interview, focus on competency answers and think of different scenarios. Overall, it was a straightforward interview process.
