I was contacted by an employer service on behalf of KB. The interview had absolutely no passion. The call was about five minutes long. She asked about my sales and numbers and that’s it. I don’t understand why companies hire non-sales people to interview sales people because she didn’t ask about my closing ratio. Anyone can have high numbers but if they don’t close a deal no one gets any money. Needless to say I didn’t hear back.

First, there's a phone interview. After that, they'll bring you in for an in-person meeting with the VP of Sales and all the managers. If they think you could be a good fit, you'll head back to the office to complete a test. It's about 30-45 minutes long and is pretty intense, covering personality and math.

  • What's your strategy for persuading undecided customers?
  • Can you describe your previous sales background?

Behavioral Technical Other

I was recruited by their own company and it was a very quick process. The recruiter interviews you and asks you questions. If they like you, they set up a time to visit a corporate location and take a 60 question skills test. If you pass the recruiter calls you for a recap and a short interview. From there they relay the information to management and see if they would like to do a panel interview. That's as far as I got.

Confirmed questions2 questions
  • Can you describe your sales techniques?
  • What examples can you give of your sales techniques and situational/open-ended questions?
