Sales
The process was really thorough and fast. The manager was super knowledgeable, professional, and open. They made sure I knew what was going on and what the next steps were. I'm glad I went through it and would do it again.
- What makes you a good fit for the role?
Sales
The interview process included a phone call, a skills test, and a panel interview. It's useful to know the industry. The interviewers were middle managers who used to be on the sales floor, so they get the challenges of actually doing the job.

Sales Representative
An outside staffing agency first got in touch with me and set up the initial interview. The first interview was at the corporate office with a recruiter who asked about my resume and past experience. I also had to do a written test that included math problems and a personality section. After waiting about a week, I called the recruiter who said my test scores were great. Then they scheduled a second interview where I met the sales manager and HR manager in a conference room. This interview was more serious, focusing on my past responsibilities, why I want this job, and how I'd handle customer situations. Two days later, I had a final, third interview with the regional sales manager. He asked about my past successes and failures, dealing with unhappy customers, my long-term goals, and my customer service methods. He then offered me the job. I found out later that over 50 people were interviewing for the same role, and less than 10% were hired. The hardest part was the waiting between interviews and not knowing where I stood.
- Could you share details about your most recent role and what your duties entailed?
- Can you describe an instance where you addressed a customer's complaint, detailing your approach and the lessons learned?
- Tell me about a time you had to respond to a customer complaint. How did you handle it? What did you learn from it?
