Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Kaweah Health.
Registered Nurse
Because I applied during COVID in 2020, the interview process was super simple. I got a call from the manager who wanted to set up a formal Zoom call with the assistant manager and an educator. The interview itself was pretty laid-back, and they asked some basic questions.
- What are your long-term career aspirations over the next five years?
Registered Nurse
The interviewer was very rude and really harped on WHY I would move to Visalia rather than who I was as a candidate. They asked no questions about nursing and were very hard to get answers from regarding the hospital and the role.
- Why would you move to Visalia?
Registered Nurse
I applied online on the KDHCD website and then messaged the recruiter to show I was really interested. After that, managers called me for quick phone screenings, about 10-15 minutes each. Then, I had several in-person interviews that were about an hour long each with the main manager and the assistant manager. There were about 2-3 KDHCD staff members in each of those. They made an offer pretty fast, within 48 hours. The whole thing was really good, simple, fast, and clear.
