First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Kaweah Health.
Licensed Vocational Nurse
Had a phone interview, it was super fast and easy. They just asked the standard interview questions, like to introduce yourself and talk about your strengths and weaknesses. I heard back from them really fast.
- Could you tell me about three of your strengths and weaknesses?
Patient Transporter
We had a group interview where they asked basic questions like what are your strengths and weaknesses. It was a group panel with about 4 to 6 people, and they all asked about what you do outside of work and your hobbies. Make sure to emphasize patient care or transport and let them know you weren't afraid of blood, traumas, pandemics, or anything in a hospital setting.
- What makes you want to be employed at this company?
- Tell me about your strengths.
- What are your weaknesses?
Registered Nurse
I applied online on the KDHCD website and then messaged the recruiter to show I was really interested. After that, managers called me for quick phone screenings, about 10-15 minutes each. Then, I had several in-person interviews that were about an hour long each with the main manager and the assistant manager. There were about 2-3 KDHCD staff members in each of those. They made an offer pretty fast, within 48 hours. The whole thing was really good, simple, fast, and clear.
- Applicants' clinical reasoning skills were assessed through various presented clinical scenarios.
- The provided clinical scenarios were considered fair by the applicants.
Certified Nursing Assistant
It was a pretty decent experience, a panel interview happened at a job fair. The managers seemed pretty interested, and I got a response back in about 2 days. The whole process was really straightforward and simple. The questions weren't that tough to answer, either.
- Can you tell me about a time you dealt with a difficult patient?
