First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Kaspersky.
Software Developer
It was a friendly and positive atmosphere. They asked a lot of questions about C++, my knowledge, background, skills, and work experience. It wasn't too long, and I think I answered everything correctly.
- What programming languages are you familiar with?
Software Engineer
First, I had a take-home task to check my Java programming skills. It needed basic Java and multithreading knowledge, pretty easy for someone with experience. Then, I had a Skype interview where I did a small test in C++ and Java and wrote code in a shared document. The final step was an in-office interview, involving more Java coding and questions about Android OS.
- Can you explain what a PendingIntent in Android is?
Software Engineer
It was a tech interview with a PM, architect and a mid-level SE. They asked common questions about my past experience, and then asked me to talk in detail about my most interesting projects and some aspects of how they were realized. The whole thing lasted about 1.5 hours.
