I went through four rounds and was one of the final three candidates. The first step was a screening call with an HR representative, which was straightforward. After that, I interviewed with the hiring manager, then the VP of Channels, and finally, I had an in-person meeting with the hiring manager in my city. Although I didn't receive an offer, I felt the process was fair and I was given a good opportunity.

They crammed my whole interview into one day since I had a job and didn't want to miss too much time. They were cool with that and I met my future manager and the VP of Sales for NA. It wasn't too hard if you have sales experience and are energetic. We talked about standard sales stuff, processes, and my experience, but mostly they wanted to see if I was a culture fit. No role plays, thankfully, but you still gotta know how to ask questions and close. I got the offer fast and took it. Good call for me and them.

I talked to the hiring manager on the phone for an hour, then had another 1.5 hour meeting in his office where I met some of the sales team. After that, I had phone interviews with the field channel managers. The whole thing took about 3 weeks to a month. The benefits are really good and the people on my team were great. The people I worked with outside my team were also top notch. But I'd tell people to steer clear of Kaspersky commercial sales. Back in 2009, the ISRs had goals that more than doubled in six months, and not a single ISR hit their goal in the first three quarters of that year. I'll never forget one comment: 'If you told me six months ago I'd be doing this, I would have said no way, but now I guess I'm just used to it.' All sales are done through channel partners.
