Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Kaseya.
Account Executive
The interview process was pretty standard in how it was scheduled and the types of questions asked, but the actual interview didn't really tell me much about the job. I tried asking some questions about the role, but I didn't get a lot of details back. I didn't end up getting an offer, which was fine by me, but overall it wasn't a bad experience.
- Would you be alright with the fact that there is no hybrid or remote working option available?
Account Executive
This was one of the worst recruitment experiences I’ve had. After my first interview and an online assessment, I was supposed to have an onsite interview with the hiring manager. When I got there, she wasn’t there and offered to do a phone interview instead. I asked to reschedule, and the recruiter only did it after I followed up, with no apology—just a standard email. During the rescheduled interview, it was clear they were prioritizing candidates further along in the process, even though my delay was due to their mistake. The whole experience was frustrating, and I sensed a toxic environment. The hiring manager complained about constant last-minute changes that staff had to adapt to, and the company is fully onsite.
- What's your reason for seeking a new position?
Account Executive
I initially connected with Diana, who was really helpful and kept me in the loop about prep and what was next, always getting back to me quickly. The interview process involved talking with Diana, some senior people, the manager, and then the VP. They were upfront about what they were looking for and gave good feedback, making sure I felt good about everything as we went along. It was cool that they could shift the role to fit my background better. Overall, it was a pretty smooth and organized experience.
- In a competitive market, how do you approach building client relationships?
