Software Engineer
I had a virtual interview with a manager and he passed me to the next round. Then I had to 2 more virtual interviews in the final round. The first interview was with 3 people. The second one was with the VP of Engineering. I thought it was interesting that I did not get invited to their office for the final round since it was a hybrid role and you would think they would want me to see their office since it is not a remote job. The team seemed like a nice group of people who you would want to work with.
- Were Leetcode Medium questions asked?
Software Engineer
Had a phone interview with some engineers where we talked about a coding problem. Then, it was a full day of multiple rounds in person with different people from various teams and parts of the tech org. The final stage was an interview with the engineering VP and some specific team members.
- Can you describe how you would design an application for finding lost pets?
Software Engineer
I was first contacted by a recruiter, and had a good phone interview. Then, during the actual interview, I was given a coding assessment via a webpage. The coding challenge was simple: reverse a string in Javascript. The problem description mentioned nothing about JS but it's a safe bet for a SWE role. There are several ways to do this, but I didn't get to explore them because the coding page was broken. While I was troubleshooting, one interviewer seemed disengaged, rolling his eyes. The main interviewer didn't ask about my background. I eventually suggested rescheduling because the tech wasn't working. I felt like this place might be a bot factory.
