Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Karla Otto.
Intern
I applied by emailing my resume and cover letter to the company. I heard back within days and set up an interview. It was a short and easy interview process. They ask basic interview questions for a PR job. Make sure you know fashion publications, designers etc. The person that interviewed me gave great advice on the fashion PR world and working in that industry.
- Which publication do you like the most?
- Can you describe an interesting article you read in your preferred publication?
Intern
Had a casual chat with the heads of both departments. They were really nice and the whole thing only took about 30 minutes. They asked about my previous experience and what I'm looking to do at KO.
- Tell me about your past experience.
- What are your expectations for working at KO?
Intern
Really friendly interview, questions focused on experience + interest in PR. Mainly behavioral and went through the roles and responsibilities of the internship. Was contacted within a week about acceptance
- Can you describe your previous work experience?
