Overall the interview process was okay, but it felt really disorganized and rushed. The technical interviews were more like casual chats, which was nice. Ultimately, I didn't get the job and received no feedback at all, not even an email after going through 4 rounds. I think it's the absolute minimum to at least send a quick email saying I wasn't the right fit. It's unacceptable.

Behavioral

I just finished interviewing with Kargo and it was a great experience all the way through. The whole thing was really organized and left me feeling good about the company and its vibe. They communicated clearly and quickly. The recruiters respected my time and kept me in the loop, making it feel both professional and personal. Everyone I talked to was engaged and seemed genuinely interested in my experience and how I could fit in. What really stood out was how open they were about the process. I got a clear picture of what to expect, the timeline, and how each part would work. The interviews felt more like we were working together instead of them just evaluating me, which shows what the company values. Even though I'm not on the team yet, the process made me confident that Kargo cares about hiring the right people and treats candidates fairly. Definitely recommend talking to Kargo if you're looking for a new role in tech and media!

Behavioral Technical Case Presentation

It was way too long. I spoke with a recruiter, then had 3 one-on-one meetings. After that, there was a panel interview that included a case study presentation. Then, I had another call to get the results. The whole process was quite drawn out, and in the end, they rejected me over video. I'm not sure why that last call happened since the feedback they gave wasn't very specific or helpful.

Behavioral Technical

The process overall was pretty fast and covered a lot of the teams I would be working with as a PMM. Big thanks to Annie, my recruiter, who was so responsive and kept me updated after each round. She knew a lot about the company structure, how teams work together, and the digital advertising industry. The interview started with a phone screen with HR, then the hiring manager, and then a few more rounds with people from different teams and leadership. Each chat gave me a better sense of how Kargo operates and everyone had good things to say about the company and leadership, which made me feel good about moving forward.
