So the process goes like this, first they give you a call and talk to you about your skills and experience. Then, the hiring manager will review your resume and give you a call a few hours after the first one. If they like what they see, they'll have a group interview with you. After that, the manager will email you the details of where to go and how to get there for the next step. Then you'll meet with the manager for a chat. After that, you'll go into a room and take a test. The manager will then come with their team and HR who called you first for a group interview. They'll check your answers and go over them with you to see what you got right or wrong. Then, they'll start asking you questions about your resume, covering your education, experiences, and skills. After the group interview with the manager and their team, you'll need to interview with the manager above them. After these three interviews, you leave and hope you get the job. It was an intense interview process. After that, you just wait.

Started with a recruiter call to chat about the job and salary, making sure it was a good fit for both sides. The recruiter gave me info about the role and team. Then I spoke with the hiring manager, which was a pretty chill chat to see if I was a good match for the job. After that, I had a meeting with three team members. It was a bit chaotic because one person was in their car and it was hard to focus on three people at once. They asked questions similar to the ones before, like 'tell me about yourself'. The questions were generally easy but not very interesting. The whole process felt a bit drawn out and uninspiring. I was told I'd hear back soon, but it took weeks and a few nudges from me to get a rejection. It felt like they might have ghosted me if I hadn't followed up.
- What motivated you to apply for this position?

It was a two-part interview. The first part was to check if I was qualified, and the second was about my temperament. I had no issues with the first part. The second part turned into a full-on psychological evaluation with my old boss (who's no longer with Kaplan). We had a full-on verbal debate, which was tough at times, but I stood my ground, kept my cool, and stuck to my message. I got hired on the spot. Glad to say that person doesn't work at Kaplan anymore. The interview process is a bit more relaxed now.
- Can you describe how you would tackle problem x, y, and z?
- What are your career aspirations over the next x years?
- What makes you believe you'd be a strong asset to this company?
