Underwriting Assistant
I had a phone call with a recruiter to set up an interview, which was scheduled for within a week of that call. They mentioned they'd let me know the outcome within a week after the interview, but I never heard back. It was disappointing to be ghosted, and I would have appreciated some feedback.
- Can you share an instance where you had to make a decisive choice and describe how you handled it?
Tutor
It was a series of standard questions about my experience, plus some weird and pretty irrelevant ones about hypothetical classroom situations. The two interviewers asked the same question multiple times, rephrasing it. Also, when I asked questions, most of them got unsatisfactory or incomplete answers.
- What's your approach when a student asks about grammar not covered in the lesson materials?
Market Manager
The interview process with this company was quite disappointing. I went through three rounds of interviews, but then was ghosted by the hiring managers. Later, I found out through LinkedIn that the position was already filled. This whole experience felt disrespectful, especially after I had invested a lot of time preparing presentations, writing cover letters, and attending interviews at their convenience. It's frustrating not to get any feedback after putting in so much effort. I followed up with two people after being in the process for a month, and still heard nothing. My advice is to avoid companies that don't respect their potential employees.
- How do you handle stressful situations?
Sales
