Business Analyst Intern
The technical interview went well, covering relevant questions and assessing not just technical skills but also alignment with company values. The HR interview, however, was not a good experience. The interviewer seemed unreasonable and rushed to end it before 5:00 pm, which came across as unsavory.
- Could you explain how VLOOKUP is used in Excel?
- Can you tell me the difference between VLOOKUP and HLOOKUP?
Business Analyst
We started with an online test that had 7 sections. The first section was comprehension, followed by data interpretation, logical reasoning, maths concepts, a 'what would you do' scenario, and a 'how would you approach this' type question.
- Questions about data manipulation
- Questions on mathematical concepts
- Questions on logical reasoning
Business Analyst
It was a 2 round process. Round 1, was an online test with English, Data Interpretation and Aptitude Questions. The time limit for each section was about 10-15 mins, with a total test time of 45 minutes. This test needs a lot of speed. The English Comprehension sub-questions were not in sequence, and you might find another sub-part of the same comprehension. Round 2, was the interview round. First, for men, a clean shave will increase your chances. The interview wasn't tough, it was as expected for a business analyst role. The questions are below.
- Can you tell me what you have done in your college so far?
- I was given one Data Interpretation Question which was easy.
- What is the probability of three ants sitting at the corners of an equilateral triangle not colliding?
