The interview was good, they asked programming questions and went deep into my experience. The interviewer knew their stuff and was good. The technical round was about an hour. HR said I passed, but then ghosted me and the second round never happened.

I applied through my University campus drive. We had a coding and aptitude test. After the tests, they shortlisted very few students for interviews. Round 1 was a Technical interview, and it covered most CS topics well. Round 2, another Technical interview, went deep into application process flow and memory management. We also discussed optimization and multi-processing, and it ended with a question about my project. Round 3 was a Managerial interview, focusing on the company's fast-paced work culture and diversity, with related questions. Then, it ended with searching techniques and a discussion on time complexity. Finally, Round 4 was an HR interview, where they asked about hypothetical situations, my family background, future goals, and how I see myself growing with and contributing to the company.

I saw the Staff Software Engineer job on LinkedIn and a Navis recruiter reached out the next day to learn more about my background concerning the role. The recruiter was really professional, nice, and quick to respond. We coordinated timing and availability, and the interviews were set up fast based on my schedule. The process had a technical phone interview with the hiring manager and an engineer. Then, a 3-hour virtual on-site with the team, hiring manager, and the VP of engineering. Everyone I met was friendly and professional, and the questions seemed relevant to the job. I got feedback quickly and the offer came right after. The team seems super friendly and supportive, and they have a well-organized remote onboarding plan. I had a great time interviewing with Navis and I'm excited to join them.

Confirmed questions6 questions
  • Product (API) design questions were asked.
  • Communication and behavioral questions were asked.
