The interview was a positive experience, but I didn't get the job. I still wanted to leave a positive review because it's hard nowadays to have interviews where you are truly listened to and especially where you get feedback, even if it's not always positive.

Worst 1-on-1 interview I've experienced, even considering my time working internationally. When I stated my career goals were more behind-the-scenes, focused on data analysis and vendor relations, it felt like a negative mark. The hiring manager seemed to want me to commit to staying in the Assistant Store Manager role for three years, which is unrealistic in retail given staff turnover. Unlike some candidates who might just say what they think gets them the job, I was upfront about my ambitions, which were also noted on my resume. It makes me wonder why my time was even considered if this was a potential conflict.

Behavioral Presentation
