Manager
The process never got past the initial recruiter email. They reached out saying they liked my CV and immediately started discussing salary without talking about my experience. While I get wanting to sort out the money stuff early to save time, the recruiter's response was lazy. They didn't give clear answers on if they could meet my salary request or provide details about benefits. It felt like the company was more focused on haggling over small salary details than giving a clear picture of benefits, culture fit, or skills.
- I've included the description of the recruiter stage above as the only questions asked.
Manager
The whole process was really quick, and everything listed below happened in just 3 weeks. First, I had a chat with the recruitment team. Then, I interviewed with the marketing director, followed by an interview with some of my future teammates. Finally, I met with the CMO.
- Can you share an example of when you worked with teams in another country?
Insights Manager
I had a 30 min screening call with their recruiter first. Then, a 1hr competency based interview with the hiring manager. The final stage was a 45 min technical interview with the hiring manager that involved questions related to analysis, statistics and SQL. I made it clear to both the recruiter and hiring manager that my background was analysis and consulting not data science or statistics. The technical questions in the final stage were, in my opinion, suited to someone working in a statistical/data science role. Disappointed not to hear back or receive any feedback following the interview (it's been two weeks), despite giving up 2+ hours of my time.
- Can you share an example of a project you're proud of?
- How would you go about analyzing churn for JET customers? What metrics would be important to consider?
- What macro-environment factors might impact JET's performance?
