I had an initial phone call with the internal recruiter. She asked competency and situational questions. She was very late to the interview by 45 minutes. It was just after lunch and she was working from home. After waiting on the call, I left and tried to follow up via email. I got a reply with the excuse of having laptop issues. I don't get why the work phone couldn't have been used. After 2 days I got a rejection email. I asked for feedback so I can have a better understanding of why I had not been shortlisted and never received a response.

It was a really simple, two-part interview process. First, I talked with the Sales Director, and then I met with the hiring manager. The manager was mainly trying to see if I had a lot of energy, was willing to learn, and had a few years of sales experience.
