First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Junior Achievement USA.
Manager
The interview process was really well thought out. The questions they asked in each stage felt genuine and were very people-focused. You could tell the team there loves the mission and really values each other.
- Describe a situation where you had to juggle several deadlines or projects simultaneously.
Education Manager
The interview process was very informative and straightforward. I felt they genuinely wanted to find the right person for the job, which was greatly appreciated. They seemed to value the team and wanted to add someone who fit well.
- Tell me about your future goals and aspirations.
District Director
I applied online and immediately got an email to do a 15-minute recorded video interview on Widget about my skills and experience for the job. Four days after finishing the Widget, I had an initial interview via Teams with an HR Firm that Junior Achievement contracted. It went well, but then I was ghosted. It's frustrating when companies use third-party apps and external interviewers, and then don't even follow up to let you know if you're moving forward or not.
- Tell me about your experience working with or around high school students.
- What is your experience with fundraising?
Project Coordinator
I submitted my resume and was called in for a one-on-one with the VP. Right after that, I had another one-on-one with the President. They said they'd talk it over and let me know the next day. I got a call the next day with an offer. I told them I needed to think about it and would get back to them on Monday.
- What's your experience with technology?
- Could you detail your technical capabilities?
- What salary are you looking for?
