After feeling discouraged by ghosting employers, Jumpcut renewed my hope in finding a remote job. I applied in early April and was shocked to get a reply the same day – super fast compared to others! We then had an email exchange where they confirmed my replies and promised follow-ups, which was great because you usually just wait and worry. After passing the first round that checked my analytical skills, the second round involved a mini-project: responding to a sample customer email as a Customer Service Champ, testing my writing and customer service abilities. They advised using available resources for the best response. Following that, I scheduled an interview which was a casual chat to get to know me and give feedback on the written test. The earliest slots were two weeks out, which felt like a slight hiccup, possibly due to a holiday. The third round was the toughest: a more detailed version of the first written test, with a time limit of a few hours. The good news was I'd be paid for my time. I got feedback again and had to redo my answers. The last step was a Culture Fit interview, which was a pleasant call with department heads. It's impressive how much they value personality and values in hiring, ensuring a good fit for their environment.

I submitted my application online, and the whole process took about three weeks and was done remotely. The interview process involved one phone call, one video interview, and three rounds of tests, including the initial application assessment. After passing the initial application review, I had the first interview with the CS Hiring Manager, who was very nice and explained the rest of the process clearly. Then, I took an 8-hour exam testing my writing and email response skills, with all resources provided. Jumpcut pays for this exam time regardless of the outcome. They gave me feedback on my exam a few days later, and I moved to the final tests. In the last round, I revised and edited my previous exam answers based on their feedback. After passing this final test, I scheduled a video interview with the CS Hiring Manager and the Customer Service Director.

I applied online. The process kicked off with a test involving analyzing a file and answering questions about it. Next, I had a customer service skills task. Then, a phone interview with the hiring manager. Following that, I did a paid, live-environment simulation of the job tasks. The final step was a phone interview with the Direct Managers. The hiring process was smooth overall. Emails were the main communication, but instructions were clear. The hiring manager was pleasant and accommodating.
