FPGA Engineer
Had an HR call first and then a technical screen with the trading team. The technical screen involved finding bugs in Verilog and C code, explaining how to fix them, and discussing basic Verilog logic.

It was a really short interview. The interviewer asked one question and once they realized my experience wasn't exactly what they were looking for, the interview ended. I think I could've prepared better, but I figured they'd be open to talented individuals without the precise experience. From the interview, I understood I didn't make it, though I haven't heard back since.
- How do you resolve a problematic route during a synthesis process?

The hiring process started with two online interviews. The final stage was in-person and included a short coding interview, followed by a longer one, and two interviews focused on culture fit. My last culture interview got cancelled last minute, and I got mixed feedback about my performance. I was told I did really well in the technical interviews, but the feedback didn't seem to match. Overall, it wasn't the best experience.
