Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Jump Associates.
Strategist
It was straightforward. The people I met were really nice and made me feel comfortable. I didn't get past the second interview, and when I reapplied for a junior version of the role, I wasn't considered.
- A case study on the hotel industry was presented.
Strategist
The hiring process at Jump is unique and stands out because it's responsive, personal, and passionate, unlike many others. The quality and thoughtfulness of the process were key factors in my decision to accept their offer. A central part of the process was a hiring event, which was a new experience for me. It took place at Jump's office and included current employees and other candidates. Although the format felt intimidating, I liked the rigor and intention behind its design. Spending time in the office, learning from the CEO, and talking with various "Jumpsters" that evening really brought Jump's culture and mission to life. Going through any hiring process is naturally nerve-wracking, and this was no exception. However, I felt seen, appreciated, and valued as a person, regardless of whether I was a good fit for the role. In a world often dominated by anonymous algorithms, this experience was a highlight. While not perfect, I appreciate Jump's initiative in exploring a hiring process that aims to give as much to its candidates as it asks of them.
- What aspects of our work capture your interest?
Strategy Associate
The recruiter was really clear about the application requirements and the expected timeline, which I liked. I was looking for a company with good culture and from the start with the application, I could tell this company really valued the type of person they wanted. For the application, you need to submit a resume, writing sample, work sample, and a Predictive Index response. After that, there were a few in-person interviews that included a mini project to demonstrate your work and thought process.
